This file lists all of the files available in this directory.
outsidebajaforecast
This forecast is for the outside of the Baja Peninsula from Ensenada to Cabo
Falso. North of Ensenada NWS Weather Radio provides excellent reports.
This forecast should be available by 1330Z each day.
socforecast
This forecast is for the Sea of Cortez south to the Southern Crossing
(Latitude 24N).
This forecast should be available by 1330Z each day.
southerncrossingforecast
This forecast is for the Southern Crossing between Baja and Mainland Mexico
along latitude 24N. This forecast should be available
by 1330Z each day.
cabocorrientesforecast
This forecast is for the area from Cabo Corrientes down to Manzanillo.
It should be available by 1330Z each day.
mexicanrivieraforecast
This forecast is for the area from Manzanillo down Bahías de Huatulco.
It should be available by 1330Z each day.
tpecforecast
This forecast is for the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
It should be available by 1330Z each day.
papagayofcst
Covers all of the Pacific Coast of Central America, including gap wind
warnings for the Tehuantapec, Bay of Fonseca, Gulf of Papagayo, Bay of
Panama and Wind/Wave data off the Fulf of Papagayo. Also included is
information regarding the ITCZ for those making the passage to the Galapagos
or Ecuador.
It should be available by 1330z each day.
chubascoforecast
This forecast is for a nightly Chubasco update during the summer in the Sea
of Cortez.
It should be available by 0300Z each evening.
Requesting these Files VIA SSB
To request any file send an email to query@saildocs.com, with query request
in the subject line and with the following command in the body of the
email:
send tpecforecast
This will return the forecast for the Gulf of Tehuantepec
You may also subscribe by sending an email to the same address with the
following command in the body of the email (the time portion is critical):
sub tpecforecast days=30 time=1330
This will return the forecast for the Gulf of Tehuantepec every day at
approximately 1330 for 30 days.
